  1. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information obtained through the www.pgpo.pl website is protected and processed.

The owner of the www.pgpo.pl website and, at the same time, the data Administrator, i.e. the entity that decides how your personal data will be used, is the Polish Footwear Manufacturers Association entered in the National Court Register by the District Court for Kraków-Śródmieście in Kraków, 12th Commercial Division of the National Court Register; NIP: 5512642336; REGON: 384818734

Personal data collected through the website are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter referred to as RODO.

How do we collect data?

  1. Polish Footwear Manufacturers Association pays special attention to protect the interests of data subjects, and in particular ensures that data collected by it are processed lawfully, collected for specified, legitimate purposes and not subject to further processing incompatible with those purposes, substantively correct and adequate in relation to the purposes for which they are processed, and stored in a form which allows the identification of data subjects for no longer than it is necessary to achieve the purpose of processing.

Polish Footwear Manufacturers Association collects information on individuals performing a legal action not directly related to their business, individuals conducting business or professional activities on their own behalf, and individuals representing legal persons or organizational entities that are not legal persons to which the law grants legal capacity, conducting business or professional activities on their own behalf, hereinafter collectively referred to as the Clients.
  3. Customers’ personal information is collected when: a) using the contact form.
  4. When using the contact form, Customer provides: a) e-mail address; b) name and surname; c) telephone number.
  5. When using the Website, additional information may be collected, in particular: the IP address assigned to the Customer’s computer or the external IP address of the Internet provider, domain name, browser type, access time, operating system type.
  6. We may also collect navigational data from Customers, including information about the links and references they choose to click on or other actions they take on our Website.

How do we use and with whom do we entrust the collected data?

  1. In the case of using the contact form on the Website, Customers’ data are processed in order to respond to the message sent – on the basis of Article 6.1.b RODO.
  2. Navigation data may be used to provide better service to Customers, analyze statistical data and adjust the website to Customers’ preferences, as well as to administer the Online Store.
  3. The personal data provided by the Client will be processed for the purpose of defence against claims and vindication – on the basis of Article 6.1.f RODO – the legitimate interest of the Polish Footwear Manufacturers Association, for a maximum of 10 years from the end of the contract.
  4. Our customers’ personal data is currently not processed outside the European Union.
  5. In connection with the purposes referred to above, the recipients of personal data may be entities intermediating in the performance of contractual obligations by the controller, e.g. IT service providers, accountants, law firms, online payment providers, courier companies

How long do we keep the data?

We process and store your data generally for the duration of our contractual relationship, and until the purposes of the respective processing are achieved. Insofar as this is prescribed by law, certain personal data is also stored for longer periods.

  5. Right of access to data – legal basis Article 15 RODO At any time, you have the right to request information about which of your personal data we hold.
  6. The right to rectify data – legal basis Article 16 RODO The customer has the right to request rectification of his personal data if it is incorrect, as well as to complete incomplete data.
  7. The right to data portability – legal basis Article 20 RODO At any time, the Customer may edit, view or delete his/her own personal data in the area of his/her account, after providing his/her login and password. If the Customer forgets the password, there is a “password reminder” link on the login page, which redirects the Customer to a form, the filling of which with the e-mail address provided during registration will send a substitute password.
  8. The Customer has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, regarding the violation of its right to personal data protection or other rights granted under the RODO.

<strong>How do we secure our services?</strong>

  1. Our technical standards – Data transfer is carried out using a secure transmission protocol SSL( Secure Socket Layer).
  2. The Website may contain links to other websites. The Administrator urges that after navigating to such other websites, one should familiarize oneself with the privacy policy established there. This privacy policy applies only to this website.
  3. The controller shall apply technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of the processed personal data appropriate to the risks and categories of data protected, and in particular to protect the data against their disclosure to unauthorized persons, against their appropriation by an unauthorized person, against their processing in violation of the applicable regulations, and against their alteration, loss, damage or destruction.
